History:

This E-Type was delivered new in America. It has spent most of its life in California. The current owner is a classic car collector who purchased it in 2021 through a professional importer.

The car has a current French registration document in the name of the current owner.

Condition:

The bodywork was repainted in this dark brown in 2023. It originally came from the factory in beige, and the decision was made to repaint it in this color to better showcase its appearance. The bodywork was carried out with great care, and the paint thicknesses are consistent and well-proportioned. A few minor imperfections from use are present, but the car still maintains a very appealing overall appearance.

The tan leather interior contrasts elegantly with the brown bodywork. The upholstery is beautiful overall and was redone in its original color in 2022.

Mechanically: The car has benefited from numerous recent repairs, including the rebuild of the front suspension, brakes, and wiring harness. The valve clearances have been adjusted.
