Opening bid $16,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 4 days left in auction. Same location.
Sellers description:
1969 jaguar xke coupe 2+2. i am the third owner of this car and have owned it since 2003. it has 33,900 miles and has been garaged all of it's life. the body is in very good condition with no rust and very little bady damage. there is a small dent (1/2" x 3") in the drivers side rear panel. the paint is failing but it is original and i've been fearful of repainting so that the true rust-free body can be inspected by the next owner. it has a broken tail light which happened during the small dent time and a cracked windshield. the chrome and rubber is mostly in good condition. the interior is in very good condition except for the drivers seat which has nominal wear for the it's age and a small tear. all the gauges work and are in good visual condition. the dash board is in very good condition as is the rear seats and cargo area. the steering wheel has been replaced with a smaller and easier to handle 'nardi' wheel but the original is included with the car. mechanically the car is in very good condition. it starts perfectly, idles perfectly, has a very responsive throttle, handles and steers extremely well and hugs the road like it is magically attached to it. i have driven it to 135 mph and never feel unsafe except for the possibility of a crossing deer. the brakes work very well and it stops very evenly. it has had minor repairs mostly to the front brakes and several nusanse problems. (eg, loose grounding screw for condensor in the distributor)
it's been a pleasure to own but time to let someone else experience the joy of owning this classic automobile. the last child just started college this month.....

Added description: I've relisted this ad and want to add that the rocker panels are in perfect condition with no rust. the 2+2 is extremely spacious with lots of head and leg room. it starts and drives exceptionally well!
