Current bid $2,025 reserve not met, 3 bids, 6 days left in auction. 43k miles.

Sellers description:
Beautiful JAGUAR XKE, 1969 with a 6 cylinder engine that was completely redone at 36000 miles with a 4 speed manual gearbox which was redone at the same time (receipts for over $ 8000). The car is equipped with a rare 3 carburetor setup (carbs were redone in 2004). Aluminium NASCAR radiator and electric fan for cool running even under hot conditions. Car passed smog test in Nevada 4 weeks ago. Older respray in original dark red, still shows very good, interior very good, dashcover with no rips or tears (driver seat cushion could use upholstery and leathercover, but usable for now). Chrome in very good condition. Wire wheels have no rust and excellent chrome. Car runs very good, powerful and tight. This Jag was in dry Arizona since at least the early '80. I have all receipts for maintenance and repairs since then. Original car jack and lugnut tool. Custom made car cover included. Clear Nevada title.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
