    Owner: Dan Meyers

I have owned many E-Types and have owned this one since sometime in 2003. I have had the rear end, engine and most elect. components rebuilt as well as a new, down to bare metal respray in the original color of "Sable". Also, I recently installed all new rubber seals and a new interior in "Biscuit" color. We drive this car, with other members of the Jaguar Club of Pittsburgh, to Watkins Glen each September for the vintage races. This car is not a trailer queen but a really nice, reliable driver. Dan

This XKE is a very nice, non rusty, pretty original, driver. I purchased it on E-bay from a gentleman named Paul Henry in Ohio, just west of Cleveland. I have put a new interior into it and re-built the entire rear end. Great fun to drive!!!

I have just had Crow Engineering from England over to rebuild the entire rear end, rubber suspension, brakes, shocks, everything. Also had cooling system re-done along with front brakes, and tortion bars adjusted for front end height. Stuart Plant did a great job for me.

In October 2005 I had Crow Engineering back to my garage to overhaul the original motor and add a new clutch. The engine was leaking oil badly onto the clutch from the rear main seal, so, I decided to take the plunge and have the entire motor rebuilt. Crow (Stuart Plant) does a great job and the car now has triple HD8 carbs on it. The car runs better than new. Any part that could be replaced was replaced whilst the engine was out. Cheers, Dan

I took this 1970 XKE to Howard's auto body and restoration shop in New Stanton PA. in November 2007 for a new Sable brown paintjob. I got it back in July 2008 and the paint turned out great. Now installing all rechromed parts, bumpers and lights. Dan

I recently sold this car to a friend in Pittsburgh who sent the car to the Hamptons for re-sale. It is a fantastic driving car as I owned the car for about ten years and completely restored the car to original specs. Any condition questions about the car I will be glad to answer after you talk to the new owner about the sale. Thanks, Dan

This motorcar has been in a private collection since November of 2013. The odometer shows 72,400 miles.

A comprehensive restoration was completed by the previous owner at 67,000 miles that is supported by receipts and contemporaneous notes. The restoration is first class and based on its Jaguar Trust Certificate, the body, engine and gearbox numbers match; and the color (Sable) and interior (Cinnamon) are original. The Invoices, notes and Jaguar Trust Certificate are included.

This E-Type drives like a modern car and is both powerful & comfortable, fun to drive and absolutely a work of art in motion.

Just FYI- I reupholstered the interior in biscuit NOT IN CINNAMON, after I had the car repainted in sable. Just a clarification. Unless a newer owner has changed the interior back to cinnamon.
