Current bid $10,100.00 (Reserve not met), 4 bids, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $23,500.

Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E- Type Series 2 Coupe, with the desirable 4.2 liter overhead cam 6-cyinder engine and four-speed manual transmission, factory Air-conditioned car!!! This is a completely un-molested and original example, right down to the factory original British Racing Green lacquer paint. This three owner car (the first two in the same family) shows 22,802 original miles as verified through Title search and a local and reputable Jaguar repair shop that has serviced and repaired the car for decades. Un-touched in terms of restoration, and this dry climate garage queen has aged gracefully indeed!!!. All original sheet metal with a few light door dings, and a few chips and scratches here and there. Absolutely beautiful trim and glass that shows no wear or pitting, including factory wire wheels that show no rust or curb rash whatsoever. All plastic lenses are original, bright looking and crack-free, all soft products such as door and window seals are original, crack-free, and soft and pliable. New windshield and windshield seal are the only non-original trim items on the exterior of the vehicle. Inspection of the interior reveals new leather seat covers and carpet kit needed to bring it to the level of the rest of the interior. Door panels and upholstered rear cargo area look brand new!!! all interior chromed trim items look new. Gauge and switch clusters are in excellent condition, dash pad is free of deformities or cracks, headliner is original with no sagging and a few condensation stains. Air conditioning vent housing shows warpage from Texas heat, and that is what probably finished off the original seat covers. All gauges and switches work properly except for the clock, electrical system seems to be in working order and the original wiring harness looks to be in excellent condition. Original AM/FM Phillips radio works perfectly. A look underneath the rear luggage tray reveals the never used wire- wheel spare with the original Dunlop tire, and the original jack and tire iron in It's original storage bag. You will also find the original Owners' Manual, Warranty Book and Dewars' Scotch Whiskey bottle that the mechanics traditionally sip off of after working on it, and 2/3rds full!!! Most importantly, this is a dry climate and rust free car, and we say that VERRRRRY CAREFULLY!!! No Rust bubbles can be found anywhere on the exterior of the car and the undercarriage shows original and rust free. Original floor pans show no rust, no rust repair and no through holes or pinholes. the only thing related to rust issues are that if you lift up the driver-side mat you can see minor surface rust from condensation. Very minor, but best to well inform the new owner. The vehicle was involved in an estate settlement, and therefore has sat in a garage un-touched for two years. Thus, expect to have the car serviced as well as the discovery of unknown incidentals which may be found as a result of long term storage. Starts every time, does not smoke, no ticking sounds and idles smoothly. Transmission shifts firm with good synchros in all gears, clutch is reactive and engages correctly. Minor and typical oil leaks beneath engine, and the undercarriage is dirty from oil and road grime; what you would expect from an un-restored driver. Aftermarket Monza exhaust system has leaks and could be repaired, replacement advised. Tires show flat spots and dry rot from sitting. Check out the prices of a number one condition equivalent of this car, $40,000.00 plus!!! In our opinion, a high quality paint job, further undercarriage and engine bay detailing, a few other inexpensive loose ends and you are there!!! You may want to leave it alone and enjoy the car with It's beautifully aged patina and worry free drivability of a car with a few flaws. Investment potential either way you look at it, and priced to sell!!!!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
