Ebay item 11/17/16
www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-E-Type-Coupe-/302140525875
Car has a buy it now price of $40,000 for 20 days, seller rw_auto_classics, 70k miles.

Sellers description:
RW Auto Classics is proud to present this matching numbered 1969 Jaguar XKE coupe for your consideration. We were offered this car and immediately jumped on it as she is in above average shape for a non-restored e-type. The previous owner stated that the car has been lovingly cared for and always kept in running condition with one previous re-spray of the original color. We have actually kept her around the shop and have enjoyed taking her out on nice days here in the pacific northwest, and she has never disappointed!
The major problem areas on XKE's has always been rust related, and as any previous owner will tell you its costly and time consuming to repair. I believe this is one of the driest and rust free xke's you will find that hasn't already been repaired. She sports all of her original panels and has had no accident damage that we have noted. The paint is shabby and will need to be resprayed to bring her back to her former glory. There are small dings here and there with no major body damage noted. With new paint and seals she would be a very nice driver and with no other major items to attend to! The chrome is all original and is a nice driver quality.
This xke is a numbers matching unit and runs out very nicely. She makes plenty of power with no unwanted or strange noises. The tranny shifts nicely through all the gears with no clunking or grinding. The engine bay is in original shape and would clean up nicely with a little elbow grease and a weekend of time.
The interior is in surprisingly nice shape for being all original and untouched. The seats do show some wear, and the steering wheel could stand to be redone, but what a great starting point and is enjoyable as it is. The gauges all function as do the lights and signals.
Overall what we have here is a fantastic starting point to whatever you would like to make this car. I can't stress enough how hard it is to find any XKE with original panels and not needing rust repair. With paint she really would be quite nice and presentable, but if you are looking for a car to restore this one would be a great candidate for that route as well. She is ready to be enjoyed now by a new owner and we will be sad to see her go.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
