Current bid $4,950, no reserve, 6 bids, 5 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE 2 seater 4.2 6 cylinder 4 speed with factory air. This car has been sitting for a few years. The person I got it from said it ran good before it was parked. The car has some rust on the underside. The rockers are also rusted and the left rocker has been partially cut off. I have new rockers and a bunch of rust repair panels for the underside, I think that’s what the panels are for, the parts came with the car. The car also comes with its tool kit. The interior is in decent shape. I put a battery in the car and it does turn over with no problem. I didn’t try to start it. I just wanted to make sure it turned over. The engine has plenty of compression. This is a very restorable car. I am selling this car and a few other ones I have too many projects.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
