This E Type S2 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe has had 3 owners, and was subject to a ground up restoration between 2008 and 2010 by renowned E Type specialists Lanes Cars. One of the early 1070 RHD Series 2 FHCs manufactured by Jaguar. It was stripped to a bare shell and rebuilt. The car was repainted in its original colour. The engine, gearbox, rear axle, diff and suspension were rebuilt, overhauled and detailed. All brightwork was re-chromed or replaced. A new Black leather interior was installed and a wiring harness fitted. Fitted with new chrome wheels, and a reinforced steering wheel, a rare find. It has, we believe, covered 39,500 miles from new, with supporting MoT history file. It must be one of the best S2s available.
