The car was listed on Trade Classics on line auction sale of Classic Cars on 12th October 2019. Sold for £50,000. Abbreviated and amended seller's description below.

The car was restored including a windows out respray with any bodywork issues remedied at the time. Returned to its original colour of dark blue, the finish and colour of the paint is even in all panels. There is some scratching visible on the scuttle near the windscreen wipers and some bubbling on the bonnet near the louvred vents. The glass does have some scratches on a few panes, the chrome is in good condition. The 15'' wire wheels look great and are wrapped in Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.
Interior: Finished in light grey leather with matching carpets replaced at the time of the restoration. The dashboard is smart with all dials looking good and legible. The steering wheel and gear stick look original and both show signs of wear.
Mechanics: The 4.2 litre engine has been rebuilt and has no issues. The suspension has been overhauled. The brake servo is not working and requires attention. The car has been dry stored since its restoration. It comes with invoices from previous restoration work and a Jaguar heritage certificate.
