Jaguar E Type 4.2 Series 2 Fixed Head Coupe 1970. Signal Red with black leather interior. Matching numbers throughout, complete with Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate. The car has a Webasto full length sunroof, chrome wire wheels and a full stainless steel exhaust.

I have owned this car since 1987 and I have a comprehensive history file dating from this time and beyond, including 23 old MOT certificates which show that the mileage of 62,000 is genuine. The car has been used on many occasions by Jaguar Cars for press, publicity and television, inlcuding featuring in all of the XK8 launch material. The car was also featured in the television series 'The Car's The Star', alongside Sir Jackie Stewart.

Since November 2002 the car has been extensively restored. The restoration work included all necessary bodywork, a full respray, a full rechrome including the wire wheels, and a full interior retrim. The restoration work was completed August 2003.

The car is magnificent throughout, and is in near concours condition. The car runs, drives and handles exactly how an E Type should.
