Current bid £20,100 [21 bids ] reserve not met, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
Jaguar E Type 4.2 Litre Coupe, first registered on 01/04/1970. It is finished in British Racing Green with biscuit leather interior, manual gearbox and it is an original UK RHD vehicle. This car was fully restored around 15 years ago and has photographs showing various stages. The engine was rebuilt at the same time and the mileage was zero'd. It has covered only 23,000 miles since. It has had 6 former keepers, the last one for five years. It has always been garaged and is waxoyle protected. Many new parts have been fitted including breaks, discs, distributor, facet fuel pump, stainless steel exhaust and a new clutch 5000 miles ago. This lovely old girl is not in concours condition and does not pretend to be but it is good and solid and very useable and will only increase in value. It drives very well, has very good oil pressure and sounds superb. It comes with a full 12 months mot and a massive history file. This lovely iconic classic is situated in Bolton, near Manchester and delivery can be arranged if required, good luck.

There is a Jaguar Heritage certificate and JEC valuation cert for £40,000, dated last year with all the paperwork. The asking price is nowhere near that figure so this will make a great bargain for somebody.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
