Car was at auction in '08

    Auction description:
    Lot : 40
    1970 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Coupe
    SOLD for £4510
    Colour: White
    Trim Colour: Red
    Chassis No: IR20558
    Engine No: 7R8102-9
    Registration No: JVW 495H
    CC: 4200

Finished in white with red leather upholstery, this particular example was reportedly the subject of some restoration work prior to being laid-up during 1982. A right-hand drive Series II fixed-head coupe equipped with manual transmission, 'JVW 495H' is said to have been in running order when last on the road. A potentially rewarding project, this long slumbering E-type is offered for sale strictly as seen.
