Hey, looks like we are in the same boat. Have you started to restore this car. When you are up and running, or I am up and running, lets take a drive. I am north of you.Good luck and keep us posted. Husband is doing most of the work. I am cleaning up messes and did remove 2 (mostly) carbs.

Ebay item 3/23/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Project-/271814932886
Current bid US $8,225, no reserve, 2 bids 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1970 OTS e-type disassembled
The Good - complete, all parts present down to the original clamps
- no corrosion, only surface rust on tub that's developed since blasting
- rotisserie included along with a stack of manuals
- so far, foot wells replaced and leaded repairs made to fire wall where mice lived
The Bad - disassembled but well organized
- several body dings with right rear quarter the worst, repair panel included
The engine is also disassembled, piston and crank clearances are .003 to .004" so a rebuild is in order. Still on original piston size and an unshaven head. The original color was desert sand with tan interior. Mileage is 70,000, purchased by me in 2005 from a friend who parked it in 1981.
