1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster Convertible 4.2 Litre, 50,759 original miles, 1 owner since 1972, bought the car with less than 5000 miles on it, car has had a high quality restoration that was done right so far, completely stripped, body and frame media blasted and painted, every nut and bolt removed, matching numbers body, frame, motor and trans, they offered 7, 8 and 9:1 compression motors in 1970, this is the original 9:1 motor, honed, new bearings and seals, ect...didn't need much, but I have a detailed list of work done, original Stromberg carbs professionally restored, very close to being able to fire up, basically needs the spark plug wires cut to length and put on distributor cap, oil filter, new ignition switch, and fluids added, zero rust ever on car, all metal is beautiful!, paint needs final cut and buff, have extra paint as well, there is a spot on hood where something spilled on it and needs to be touched up, needs complete interior done and top, I have the windshield, door glass, chrome and all parts that came off of the car, tons of receipts, books and manuals ect... I figure it needs 5 to 10K to finish it.

This 1970 Jaguar E-Type/XKE is a Series 2 OTS in Regency Red purchased by the current owner from a seller who had recently acquired the car. It had been in a restoration process at that time. The car appears to have been the subject of a partial mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment up to and including 2017. See XKEdata dot com for details. The current owner, after purchase, continued the restoration process in Northern California. The restoration shop specialized in Jaguar and european cars. This vehicle is fully restored.
