Sellers comment:
THE 1971 XKE SERIES II ROADSTER BEING OFFERED HERE IS AN EXCELLENT DRIVER, PRESENTED IN RED WITH A TAN INTERIOR, BLACK TOP AND CHROME WIRE WHEELS. IT IS A VERY SOLID CAR WITH EXCELLENT TRUNK, BATTERY BOX AREA, FLOOR AND ROCKERS. THERE IS NO ROT IN THESE AREAS.THE CAR IS A RUST FREE EXAMPLE WITH NO BONDO. THE ONLY RUST IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF SURFACE RUST AROUND THE ANTENNA AND A LITTLE BIT AROUND THE WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID SPRAYER.

THE UPHOLSTERY IS EXCELLENT, THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF WEAR ON THE DRIVERS SEAT. EXCELLENT CARPETS, AND VERY GOOD CHROME. TOP IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THERE IS A SMALL TEAR ON THE LEFT CORNER. ENGINE BAY IS NICELY DETAILED. CAR RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL. EXCELLENT OIL PRESSURE, 35LB AT NORMAL TEMP. ON A HOT DAY. THE DASH IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND ALL OF THE GAUGES WORK. THE CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH A JENSEN CD PLAYER. THE ENGINE RUNS FINE. THE CYLINDERHEAD IS A LITTLE BIT NOISY, IT MIGHT NEED ADJUSTMENT, RUNS GREAT.

Vehicle Condition
RESTORED BY ITS PREVIOUS OWNER . IT IS A VERY STRAIGHT CAR WITH MATHCING NUMBERS. IT RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT AND IS A REAL HEAD TURNER. ALWAYS A SOUTHERN CAR, THERE IS A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF SURFACE RUST ON THE ANTENNA AREA AND AT THE WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID SPRAYER. IT IS A TRUE CLASSIC THAT WILL PROVIDE YEARS OF MOTORING PLEASURE.
