Ebay item 7/11/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Roadster-1R11709-Roadster_W0QQitemZ170 ...
Current bid $20k reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction. 31k miles.
Sellers description:
We have owned this car since 1990 and are offering it for sale for the first time, we just don't drive it anymore and it's time to go. It has been completely restored, or at least 99.9% restored. What remains to be addressed if you are particular is the rear bumper should probably be replated and the rag top although new, needs to be corrected. There isn't a scratch on the car that I'm aware of, there is clear coat over spray on the boot lid but the car will be detailed before delivery. The heater blower motor needs to be rebuilt also. The car has been documented by Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust as to all numbers matching. The vehicle is a California car that had rust in the floor pans,(both replaced)and one small spot beneath the fuel tank (repaired when painted) no other rust. The engine was rebuilt, as well as the trans. All receipts are available since purchasing the car in 1990. The leather is from the Bartlett Co. and is of original Jag specifications. Installed is a Clarion stereo with cd changer in the boot, and the installer added his own touch with speakers with fire extinguisher behind the seat.
