This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that was produced in October 1969 and distributed to the US through British Leyland of New York. The car is finished in silver over red leather upholstery and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a luggage rack, knock-off 15″ wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Philips AM/FM radio, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This XKE was acquired by the seller in 2014 and is now offered in Iowa with a service diagram, manufacturer’s literature, service records, Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Illinois title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
Finished from the factory in Silver, the car was repainted in 1992 following replacement of the floors and rocker panels. Equipment includes a black soft top and boot cover, a louvered clamshell hood, a luggage rack, a driver-side mirror, and wraparound chrome bumpers with overriders. The windshield trim is warped and paint chips are shown
