Seen on eBay, 5/2003. Ad reads:

"You are bidding on a beautiful 1970 Jaguar XKE, Series II, 4.2 liter Convertible, in British Racing Green with a Biscuit leather interior. This automobile is a real head turner. Please look at the pictures below and see for yourself. Now is your chance to own this gorgeous Jaguar XKE Convertible to drive and enjoy. This car has been sympathetically restored. It is not a show car but would fit right in at many that I’ve been to.
This is the most driveable of the XKE’s. It has a fully synchronized transmission, comfortable seats that recline with headrests, and enough power to make the tires chirp if you so desire.

This car has been garaged and has not been driven in the rain by the previous owner or myself. It is believed to be a three-owner automobile.

This car was first sold in Florida and remained there until 2000, spent 1 year in Georgia and has been in California for 1 year.

· Beautiful British Racing Green paint (2 years old)

· 41,000 miles (mileage exempt due to age)

· Matching numbers VIN 1R10546, gearbox KE7548, Engine 7R6820-9, and Body 4R4920

· License plate is California plate “1970XKE” (comes with car if purchased to be registered in California)

· All receipts for new parts

· Clear title
