    Sellers description:
Bring your baskets! This car is in rough shape but I don't have the heart to junk it. The car is not restorable. Some parts may be of value - I bought this jag in 1982 (have registration title) and drove it for a few months. The engine, transmission, rear end all worked well. The problem at the time was that the front frame (drivers side) was broken. I bought a used frame section (it will be included with sale) and had the engine removed to replace the frame. That was the end of the project. The odometer reads 76,631 I have no idea if that is accurate. The car and assorted parts were stored indoors from 1985 until about the year 2000, when I lost custody of my barn... Everything then went outside except the engine and the tranmission. Notably missing from this disassembled 'car' is the distributor, the exhaust system, the rear brakes and one of the two radiator fans & motor. The interior was tan and is basically decayed or non existant and the side mirrors were non Jaguar when I bought it. Various trim pieces may be missing I really haven't inventoried these details or the interior trim. This sale is final and there are no warranties. Car is located in Middletown New York.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
