This is a 2+2 yet the cowl in front of the windscreen is like a FHC. There are three wipers and two screen washers.

Sold by Fayreoak Classics of Cheltenham in April 2021. Seller's description below.

www.fayreoak.com/autos/jaguar-e-type-series-1-5/

Series 1.5 Automatic. One owner Arizona car. 79,000 miles. UK registered with UK V5. Arrived in UK in 2017 and has been in storage since, now running and driving very well. MoT and tax exempt. This car is very presentable in its original Willow Green, when it arrived, a small amount of corrosion was present on the driver's side sill, it has been repaired. This is not a restoration project, but merely a make over if you so chose. Chrome is all good including wheels. Interior is very good and original.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
