Car listed as sold on ebay 9/28/09
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Jaguar-1967-E-type-4-2-Manual_W0QQitemZ190 ...
Auction ended with the buy it now option at $13,500. 34k miles.

    Sellers description:
1967 E-type is a fully matching number car. It is British Racing Green with tan interior. It is 100% complete. It has a complete tool kit and the correct jack. It has 34,000 miles, which I believe to be original. This came out of an estate in the Newport, RI area. I believe it be a one owner car. This has been parked in a heated garage for several years. The last inspection sticker on the car is from 1988. The interior is in super nice original condition. It still has the original carpets, leather seats and and headliner. They are all very useable condition. The body is in very nice condition, the only rust I see is some bubbling on the passenger side door. The engine turns freely and I don't believe it has ever been out of the car. Since the car has been sitting so long, the car should have the fuel drained, oil changed all fluids changed and the brakes gone through.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
