This is a jaguar series 1.5 2+2 in primrose yellow. First registered in April 1968 the car has been owned from new by father and son it was put into dry storage in 1986.

We purchased the car earlier this year and have recommissioned it, It has had a huge amount of work done to bring it to mot standard, Including rear sub frame out and reconditioned, All new braking system (inc calipers, Discs, Pads all round), suspension bearings, new fuel tank and engine reconditioned. The vehicle is offered for sale NOT including registration number (ELX 1) This can be purchased seperatly for 8000 pounds, Or I will get the vehicle registered on an age related plate after sale.

The interior is age worn original & makes the car

Jaguar E Type Series 1 .5 4.2 Manual 2+2 Coupe

Presented in Primrose Yellow with contrasting black leather radio wire wheels leaping mascot original tool kits.

Ordered new by a Doctor who requested a leaping mascot to be fitted to his vehicle and electric Ariel, the vehicle was delivered to him on the 1st of April 1968 By Jaguar Cars and used as his daily transport for 18 years. He then parked it in his garage in 1986 where it has stood, he requested a specialist to recommission the vehicle recently and Mot test her.

We have driven this vehicle over 160 miles without fault the braking is sharp the gear change crisp with correct cooling charge and oil pressure.

This is very unusually a 1 owner from new Series 1 E Type in smart order in exactly the specification it left the factory in when new with all its tools large and small grease gun, radio etc find another low mileage 1 owner un restored original E Type

The vehicle has a recent Mot inspection test and Free road tax.

We can arrange world wide export and Overland European delivery with our approved transport company.

We have a full V5C European log book registration for this vehicle

We do consider part exchanges

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
