Crevier Classic Cars is pleased to offer our 1968 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Coupe. This beautiful coupe was built on May 13, 1968, as documented by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage truct certificate that acoompanies the car. It has been beautifully restored. The paint is outstanding over very straight panels that exhibit excellent fit and tight uniform gaps. The brightwork is also very nice, with all gauges fully functional. The engine and transmission are original and numbers matching to the car. The engine has been upgraded with a Lynx Conversion intake manifold and triple Weber carburetors with a period performance look. Reportedly just under 1000 miles since restoration. The car runs and drives very well, with a proper throaty exhaust note, a smooth feel to the gearbox and solid road manners.

If you are interested in buying this Jaguar be very, very careful. The seller will not or can not provide a Service history, Restoration history or even answer questions about the car without "glossing over" the subject of your question. After a week of emails, flying back and forth between he and I, the seller would never provide a photo of the battery box area and when I asked where the car came from he stated "Houston, I think". I found a photo, on this page, with the car wearing a Illinois (rust belt) license plate. I could tell you more but I'm out of room. Be VERY carefull.
