Current bid $10,100 reserve not met, 16 bids 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Very nice 1968 Jaguar XKE Roadster that had a corvette engine and transmission conversion back in the 80's. The car was painted when the conversion was done. The paint job shows some small flaws here and there but is ok for a weekend driver. The interior ,canvas top and carpet look to be almost new. I've driven this car on many occasions and had a lot of fun with it and has always been a pleasure to drive with no problems. The engine runs great the transmission runs smooth and the brakes are strong. It's a great looking vintage car with a dependable trouble free drive train to enjoy for many weekends to come.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
