Current bid $14,100.00 (Reserve not met), 10 bids, 4 days left in auction. Car is now in Nyack, New York.

Sellers description:
You are not reading the mileage incorrectly on this unique car. This is a series 2 coupe with a 2 carburator set up (245 hp), one owner, totally original, never any rust and in excellent condition. This is not a restored car but original in every respect. It has spent its entire life in the owners garage in New Jersey. There is no rust, the chrome is excellent with no pitting; the chrome wire wheels are in equally excellent condition; and it has been properly serviced over the years. The seats show some wear which could be brought back with proper attention and the original carpets could be replaced to bring this vehicle to a #2 condition. This vehicle may be inspected at the Vintage Car Store in Nyack, New York.

This car is in remarkable original condition. No rust, 24,400 miles and needs very little to make it superb. I will spend the next few months to bring it right up to spec.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
