Ebay item 1/27/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-etype-Fantastic-old-english-white-lobster-etype-c ...
Current bid US $20,100.00
Reserve not met 20 bids 9 days left in auction, buy it now price $45,000.

Sellers description:
1968 Jaguar etype coupe 31,000 original mile car same owner 44 years. This car is fantastic practically one owner coupe. cosmetically has had some body filler through the years but has dry perfect floors and my etype guy says motor, gearbox etc... never been out of car. I bought in june, since then have been through the whole car mechanically and have put 1,300 highway miles to work the last few months. Car drives new and pulls so hard. From photos completely dry. Just went through differential, all new calipers and brake system, heater, too much to list. A great etype to restore cosmetically or drive anywhere. You could fly into Kansas and drive this car to any coast. I encourage inspection before buying . Car delivered in Ithaca NY and spent its whole life there. I can give you very precise details on the car. It needs no mechanical resto of any sort. As sound as a new one. The car had a driver quality repaint in the 1980

This matching numbers coupe with the same owner since near new and 31,797 original miles is one of the coolest driving etypes Ive ever driven. It pulls very hard into the upper revs. Olde English White/ Lobster with probably a 1980s "drivers quality repaint" turns so many heads its unreal. Floors perfect, new windshield, headliner etc.. the list go's on and on. I've owned the, car since june of 14 and now it can be driven coast to coast. The car had not been on the road since 1990 but had been driven around access roads to keep everything moving. Previous owner is from Ithaca NY where the car was delivered in 1968, I saw it in the back of his garage this summer and loved the looks of it. The amount of money spent on this car in the last year is staggering. The car is great to look at and gets more looks than anything. The car has some body filler from over the years which most do and a full cosmetic resto would make it perfect. The cosmetics do not need anything for a driver. I cant list but will detail you if interested on everything put into this car. I've recently replaced the entire brake system including new calipers, checking diff. all new heater system. Stainless steel exhaust.,battery. My jag expert working on the car said "its the driest old etype hes ever seen. A small summary of what I've done recently, Calipers four, front pads, ig. coil, ig kit . repair rear eng. mount , new rt. and left correct side mirrors. R and R rear diff , rebuild diff, new u joints, water valve, R and R carbs, repair throttle link, previous owner did all shocks, bearings etc... again if interested call and I will detail. Cosmetically car has following flaws. crease on drivers side from ladder in garage falling on it. (will show in pics) drivers quality repaint, some patina from that. Bonnett is from series one and headlights as well because previous owner liked the looks. I don't have orig. bonnet. has a nick out of bonnet on passenger side. drivers side door needs some adjustment for gap. Interior is great and age appropriate. Seats have wear but no holes, Basically car is a blast and you wont find a more fun one to drive. YOU CAN find a cosmetically perfect one but will pay a lot more and the attractiveness of this car is basically one person has owned it. In the process of titling the car in Kansas because pre 1970 in NY they just had road reg and didn't require titles I am almost done with that process and the car will have it s first title. I do have its last road reg. in NY from 1990. Car is in Wichita Kansas and I have a lift for potential buyer observation. Again , can drive off in car and cruise anywhere Ive put 1,300 highway miles on it since nov.
