Beautiful pictures of your car - thank you.
My car (1E34315) was built just 33 cars after yours. My build date is April 11, 1967 and I have open headlights. Therefore it is possible that your build date is not Dec. 1967, but probably March, 1967.

I am the previous owner of a 1967 FHC - 1E34136 - that I purchased from the original owner in 1980. At the time I acquired the car it had open headlights which I subsequently had changed to the covered version in 1983.

This E type has had a complete mechanical restoration : engine, IRS, brakes...etc. Every nut has been looked after (as you can see in the pictures...) with "factory original" in mind. Only changes are a unleaded head with larger valves, a semi-electronic ignition and a good heat and sound insulation done with "Dynamat extreme" inside the monocoque.
The 1967 car is in a "as new" driving condition now, and had 2000 miles on it this summer without any problem, just pure fun !

Bonjour,
Très belle auto ! La coicidence veut que j'ai, comme vous, une Type E (1E78201BW) ET aussi une Spitfire (n° de série 101646L) de 1977 !
