For sale June 2009 at Auto Europe, Birmingham, MI, price about $30K. They say:

"This vehicle has been well maintained and servicing has been carried out at our dealership. Most recently the car’s radiator was cleaned and tested and several bits were replaced. The center muffler was replaced and new gaskets were swapped. Also, the coolant hoses, clamps and a new fan motor are new. This car has had caring work performed for several years and like its E Type peers, this car has been a labor of love.

The paint is in good condition. The car has undergone paint touchups and a small amount of Bondo exists on the body, although the car has not been in an accident. The bright work on the body is in fair shape with a subtle fade in some areas. There is no rust identifiable from the outside of the car but is visible in the engine bay.

This car is and has been a driver for several years. The E Type is like all others, prone to a bit of wear and tear, but has been maintained consistently and to a high degree of quality for several years. This Jaguar is in need of an enthusiast who wants a wonderful car that makes a statement to all who see it on the road. As an older restoration, this Jaguar is a bargain compared to the myriad of 'basket case' E-Types that litter the internet.

Note: The E-Type is its current format is not numbers matching... However, the vehicle is being sold with the numbers matching engine (on a pallet). Both the current engine and the correct numbers engine will go to the car's next owner.
