*Please note that this 1966 E-Type is for sale only as a Classic Showcase restoration project.
This XKE is a matching-numbers (2) owner since new Colorado car. The E-Type's body is straight and solid, and is currently in a bare metal state, as trimmers in our Upholstery Department create the XKE's interior. The Coupe will feature it's original color and highly attractive color combination Opalescent Silver Blue, with a Dark Blue interior. Once completed and test driven, the Coupe will be ready for your driving pleasure or as a candidate on the classic Jaguar show circuit. Stay tuned for future updates on this Fixed Head Coupe.
During the course of the restoration, the roadster will receive the following: the vehicle has already been stripped to bare metal, placed on a rotisserie, metal finished, leaded, all body parts fitted to the car and chrome, prepared for primer, sealer, paint, base, clear, color sanded and buffed to a fabulous finish. All systems will be gone through and the engine will be rebuilt back to factory specifications. The transmission, clutch system, hydraulic system will be restored and the car will receive all new rubber. All chrome will be re-plated. The car will receive a complete new custom tailored and fit interior in the correct materials by our upholstery department. An MP4 video of the restoration process will accompany the vehicle. Upon completion of the restoration this Jaguar will be a great example to drive, enjoy and compete in shows.
