I am the current caretaker of Belmont Reid's Jaguar. He was 90 years old in 2017 when he gave me the privilege of becoming the second owner so I can care for it until I reach 90. I plan on driving this car every driving season here in Ohio, take excellent care and regularly maintain. I take his car to shows about three to four times a year in the Ohio area. The car has won best E-Type in Cincinnati and Columbus so far which gives Belmont great joy as I regularly update him on his baby that he took care of for 52 years.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
