A good, sound and correct example, which started life in California, and as a result has not suffered from corrosion in the way that a typical UK example will have done. Upon its return to England in the late 1980s, it was converted to right hand drive, and treated to various renovation work, to prepare it for the road. During the last ownership of 13 years, approximately £25,000 has been spent, and the car has covered about 7,000 miles in this time The last item being a new set of stainless steel wire wheels, and five new tyres, fitted in January 2013. All of this work is documented in the file that comes with the car, which also contains various other papers, including a heritage certificate. Ideally, the paintwork will need attention soon due to some micro-blistering (see picture above of the worst area), but the car is absolutely useable as is, and indeed was driven over 200 miles to us with no problems at all. MoT tested and taxed until January 2014. A correct, honest and appealing car, well cared-for and ready for fun!

Chassis No. 1E31322. Reg No. DCK 158C. £35,000.

My car since 2015. Purchased from my pal Grahame Bull at Camberley Marine and Sports Cars. Part exchanged my 63 FHC for DCK. Huge history file dating back to 1990. Even went through CMC at one point. Nice car, not too shiny or precious just really good to drive and enjoy.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
