Car has a buy it now price of $27,500, 3 days left, 2 offers.

Sellers description:
1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Litre Fixed Head Coupe. A 69,000 mile rust free example recently removed from 25 years of dry garage storage. Opalescent Silver Grey with Red Leather. This is a complete, number matching, corrosion free Series One covered headlamp Fixed Head Coupe (not 2+2) that has the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate attesting to its matching numbers. The 4.2 litre series 1 cars also have the vastly improved seats and charging systems that plagued the 3.8 cars. Sold to the first owner in Austin, TX. thru Jaguar Cars, NY, the car remained in dry Texas until the early 80's then migrated to the Northwest. The engine was rebuilt, then a few minor repairs started such as seats/door panels, wiring, etc. The work for the most part stopped, then 25 years passed. Knowledgeable Jaguar enthusiasts understand the professional repair costs of the battered, uncorrect, molested, abused, rusted examples normally seen offered on eBay will exceed the Buy It Now price of this example for body/metal work alone. The discoloration on the spare tire floor and footwells is a etching rust preventative applied years ago. Purchased to keep as a future project, but reluctantly offered here due to demands of existing projects and limited storage capacity.

Video of this car available on You Tube; search - allbritish1 67 Jaguar E-type. Video lists car as a 1967 when 1965 would be correct.
