Car returns to ebay 1/2/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-two-door-1965-jaguar-xke-coupe-/191468247563
Current bid US $12,600 reserve not met 6 bids, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Re listed due to bidder accidentally hitting the Buy it now button. Matching number drive train per data tag. Clear California title is in route. I have many detailed pictures, please email me for further information. This car could be a bit of a challenge to transport. The best way I have found in my experience would be to place the chassis on an elongated pallet that has furniture dollies fixed to the base so that it can roll freely. All loose parts are placed inside car. The engine is placed on the mounts and secured. all body panels are then tapped-strapped securely in place. Then the entire car is shrink wrapped and strapped to pallets. In the end you have a weather tight rolling baked potato ready to go.

Previous auction ended as sold at $18,500.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
