Ebay item 6/6/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $4,550, no reserve, 10 bids, 6 days left in auction. Complete VIN on this car J651E30780. 54k miles.

Sellers description:
This car still needs alot of work. It runs great but Iv'e only driven it around town,,nothing too far. So please don't ask if it will make it from here,,,(San Jose, CA.) to Rhode Island,,also it has no parking brake,,so it will cost more to transport it,,please check into the cost,,you will have to arrange the shipping..

The CAR.
Its been painted a couple of times before..I think it was a cream color at first,,then blue,, now red,,,well something that resembles red...it is very badly checked and faded,( no big deal because you were going to paint it anyways)

There is some rust blistering through on both sides at the rocker panels, and a little at the bottom of the doors,,probably a good days work for a good body person. The rest of the body and frame are in pretty good shape.

It needs a complete set of rubbers except for the front window.

Its missing the chrome around the front and back window,,but seems to have most of the other chrome.

Only the temp guage and speedometer work,,,but all the other guages are there

The interior is in great shape,,except for the visors are in dire need of some attention and the head liner is in tact, but faded and powdery,,seats and dash have no cracks ,,cuts,,rips,,and are in good shape,,the rear deck is in good shape,,as is the carpet..

It has all the guages,,(speedometer and temp guage are the only ones that work),,but,on a good note,it has a factory Tach made for an 8 Cyl,,its stamped on the face of the tach.I think most of the problem in the wiring is the motor conversion never got finished.Just the wiring part,,It looks like they just did enough to make her run.

This car runs great..starts right up,,and runs like a raped ape..It has a small block ford,,,but I don't know if its a 289,,or 302,,best guess would be a 289,It has headers that just barely seem to squeek right around,Like I said it runs great but has a ticking sound like a sticky lifter or something,,,I have know idea what I'm talking about.it could be a something just rattling around,,,The exhaust rattles a bit also..and it does smoke a bit when you get on it hard...I do know it needs shocks and bushings,,and a bunch of other odds and ends,,that a neglected old car needs...,,, truly,,,the brakes are good and the tires fair...it stops on a dime..but the tires seem to be worn for some reason.Hummm,,,.I wonder how that happened

It has a Ford top loader 4 speed with Hurst shifter Linkage

It Also has a Jaguar Posi rear-end

It has the original California Lic plate...Black with yellow ,,(Nice Plus)

It has a new radiator core,,the fuel tank was just cleaned out,,and has a new electric fuel pump..and basic tune up,,,plugs ,, points,, wires,,cap,,,rotor,,,oil,,water,,brakes,,,

All the chrome looks to be there,,(Except the front and rear window) ,,,,and is in pretty good shape,,,,it also has the head light covers and chrome beauty rings that go around them.

I don't know how much,, if any body work has been done ,,but its pretty straight,,,with no damage ,,except the rust areas at the rockers and doors.

This car Sh*ts and gits
