Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1965 Jaguar E Type Series I Coupe 4.2 Coupe in its original colors of Black with Black interior. California car from new still retaining both its California Black Plates. Last owners had it from at least 1977. Mechanically excellent. No smoke or bottom end noise on start up. Excellent oil pressure. Clutch isn't heavy and gears engage nicely.
Data Plate numbers: Car# 1E30058; Body# 4E20097; Engine# 7E1143-0; Gearbox# EJ218. This is a very correct, solid, straight and original series I E Type coupe that is the perfect candidate for a high quality restoration as it'll hit all the high notes when finished. Jaguar Heritage Certificate authenticates colors and numbers.
