Sold by V Management of Thatcham in October 2025. Amended seller's description below.

This gorgeous UK RHD 1968 Series 1.5 Roadster is a highly original example that has had regular work to keep it in pristine condition, with the recent addition of vented disc brakes, new brake callipers ad adjustable dampers to make it a great drive, whilst keen eyed enthusiasts will note that a Series 1 bonnet conversion has been carried out. Complete with extensive period documentation, along with in depth recording of works carried out since 2008, this is a beautiful example of the classic drophead E Type and must be seen.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
