1964 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 FHC
E-Type 4.2 FHC
Guide Price: £65,000 to £90,000

First Registered: 1964
Registration No: BLF 58B
Mileometer: 72,000
Chassis No: 1E 20031
MOT: September 2018
Colour: Opalescent Dark Blue

The vendor tells us that this is a matching numbers car, and is the 31st ever RHD 4.2 FHC, which was fully restored about 8 years ago. The Opalescent Dark Blue paint work is still in good condition, the BAS interior is also very good, it was fitted with up-rated 4 pot front brake calipers, and 6" chrome wire wheels. Since the restoration the cylinder head has been overhauled to allow the use of modern fuels, and a new radiator has been fitted. Series One 4.2 cars are probably the most practical E-Type, whilst retaining the pure looks of the early cars. This is an excellent example, ready to use and enjoy at a very realistic price.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
