Lot 46107929 at the Catawiki online sale of Classic Cars on 7 March 2021. Seller was Tuned Imports of Schiedam. Sold for 80,000 euros. Seller's description below
www.catawiki.com/l/46107929-jaguar e-type-series-1-5-convertible-4-2l-no-reserve-1968

This Jaguar is in very neat and original condition. Odometer reading is 77,765 miles. The car starts immediately, shifts smoothly and powerfully through the gears, idles nicely at 900rpm and brakes well. This Jaguar has beautiful wire wheels and newly painted Regency Red paintwork. The interior is neat and has the original Jaguar leather. It comes with an original service manual and maintenance invoices for $32,000 from 2016 to the present. The car was always lovingly maintained and well looked after. It comes with USA title, European import documents, the VAT and import duties are paid. These E Type 1.5 convertibles are increasingly rising in value. Seize this opportunity to own this wonnderful classic.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
