Ebay item 6/20/14

Current bid $35,700 reserve not met, 2 bids 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar Series 1 Roadster. Vin number 1e15630. This Roadster has had the same owner since 1972 who we believe was the second owner of this car. The engine and head are matching numbers and we believe the trans and all other numbers are correct

our shop did a total reconditioning of this car in 2006. This is a great car with good heritage and paperwork , same owner for 42 years, we have many pictures of the work performed and it runs excellent with only 60,618 miles on it to date.

In 2006 at 50,518 miles this car received a total drivetrain restoration, the differential was dismantled and totally restored, new universals, brakes, rotors, seals and all powdercoated parts and detailed. The engine was rebuilt with new correct pistons, all bearings, pump and detailed.

and the cylinder head was rebuilt using new valves, springs and professionally reshimed and set up.

all electrical components were redone at that time, and the car received a total refinishing with PPg Deltron material.

The entire front under bonnet area, rails and firewall were dismantled and refinished, detailed as well as the suspension and all brakes.

The car received a new correct top, and a full rug set, the seats are original as well as the inner sill coverings and rear inner hardura, they are all original and very very good. All gauges and switches are very clean and not marked up, and this car has original Hazard warning system installed as designed.

the starter and alternator, water pump and distributor were all rebuilt during the reconditioning at that time and they are not updated, they are the correct ones and the ones from this car originally. The car also has a correct copper radiator and does not run hot.

the exhaust system is a bell stainless stock replacement system and it is a lifetime system.

this car has newer Vredestein tires with new tubes within the last few years and runs straight, no shaking no vibration.

the battery is new, and we just flushed all the brake fluids again and the clutch fluids were flushed because it was due. all operate fine.

Here are things to mention-

the windshield is delaminating at the top right corner, see picture

the shifter boot is worn, and the shift knob is incorrect.

the seat stitching is coming apart on the seat bottoms but the new owner may want the original covers? so we didn't redo them

the wheels have some rust spots on them that will not clean up.

the paint has held up remarkably but there are some areas that should be sanded and buffed out.
