There is extensive rust in the body. It is, of course, repairable. This is the last of the original series one E-types. Due to this historic importance, it would only make sense to do a full restoration. The good part is that this Jaguar left the factory as a red car. The engine numbers match both cylinder head and block and the frame rail matches to the body plate. Speaking of frame rails, they are in excellent condition and there is no evidence of any previous accident damage.

The interior is complete as much as I can tell. It still has the correct hazard warning assembly, correct sun visors, and even the steering wheel is correct to the year. I question the headrests, as I thought they came on the series two cars. You will notice the oil pressure gauge has been changed but finding the correct one should not be difficult. We also have the correct boot cover.

The wheels will clean up nicely and the radial tires are in excellent condition. Mechanically it appears to be complete and the engine turns over correctly. We made no attempt to go any further as the fuel pump is inactive and the brakes are not holding pressure. We have not verified the gear box number, but I have no reason to believe that it is not correct.
