1967 Jaguar E-type Series 1 4.2 Roadster

MDX 93D is a superb example of a 4.2 Series 1 Roadster, complete with original chassis, engine and gearbox all with matching numbers. Having been professionally restored to an extremely high standard, the car is immaculately presented, visually impressive and is reported to perform wonderfully.
First registered in April 1967 - by Jaguar Cars, New York, USA this car remained in family ownership for 43 years the majority of which being in New Zealand where restoration was carried out
prior to a relocation to Australia in 2008.
The comprehensive restoration included an overhaul of the Gearbox and an approved conversion to Right Hand Drive . Imported from Sydney, Australia in July 2010 and sold to Current owner in November 2012
A full re-trimming of the interior and fitting of a new hood was completed in 2011 by Stan Swan of GB Trim, an ex Jaguar factory craftsman . The Superlative paintwork finished by QCR Coatings of Nuneaton to BS EN ISO 9001/2000 Standard. QCR are painters to many prestigious manufacturers including McLaren .
Sympathetic upgrades were carried out to the brakes, electrical system and power steering which was completed by EZ Electric Power Steering, UK . Most recently a glowing overview of the car was carried out by Brian Reid, resident Jaguar Enthusiasts Club technical advisor and the UKs recognised number one Jaguar technician.
Finished in its origional colour combination of Opalescent Maroon over beige, Along with a file containing history and receipts from Jaguar specialists in excess of £65,000, the car has a recent Jaguar Heritage Trace Certificate this has to be the best example of a 4.2 E-type on the market today.
