Ebay item 2/2/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $17,850 (Reserve not met), 8 bids, 7 days left in auction. Seller says 8888 miles on the odo. There is a possibility that the VIN is 1E15123 as it is not perfectly clear in the picture.

Sellers comment:
The last of the Series I; 4.2 litre; triple SU carbs; 4 speed synchro box; NEW paint, NEW interior, NEW chrome, NEW vinyl top, and NEW rubber; recent upgrades include: rebuilt carbs; new alternator; new voltage regulator; all other mechanicals items have been rebuilt; many more digital shots upon request.

Vehicle Condition
Excellent; very good body fit; extremely good driver!!!!!!!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
