    Saturday 10th January 2009
    1967 Jaguar E-Type Series I 4.2 Litre Roadster
    Lot 208
    Registration Number:
    EU taxes paid
    Chassis Number: 1E15058

This 1967 matching numbers Roadster has recently undergone a restoration including a full engine rebuild which consisted of a fully overhauled and machined cylinder head with new valve guides and new hardened valve seats and the carbs have been overhauled with new gaskets breathing through a new stainless steel exhaust system. Power is fed through a fully overhauled gearbox with new bearings and seals. The interior has restored original gauges and totally rewired with the biscuit leather interior re-trimmed which complements the quality finish of the British racing green paint work. Prior to painting the body was taken back to bare metal and rust proofed. Protecting the occupants from the elements is a new mohair hood.

Brakes have been worked on with re-machined rotors, re-built callipers and new pads plus a new master cylinder, servo, lines and hoses. All decorative items were either re-chromed or replaced with new parts supplied through SNG Barratt.

Sitting on chrome wire wheels this highly desirable example of Jaguars most famous model is not to be missed.

    Estimate: £30000 - £35000
