I bought the car from an english executive on March 1976 in Caracas, Venezuela.. Since then I have tried to mantein the car as original as possible. I still have the original engine N° 7E 12036 wich I plan to rebuilt with "High Performance" parts to use on "rally competition" events.

My car 1E 14607 is still in Ciudad Guayana, VENEZUELA. Why it has been located in USA?This car was manufactured for other markets different to USA or UK, an the first owner was a diplomatic that import the car directly from England to VENEZUELA. The car has been registered with XKEDATA.COM and inthe"MIKE POWERS E TYPE OWNERS LIST" for more than ten (10) years). In that period of time I never received any complaint over the registration data, and suddenly the car is located in USA????. The pictures on this page are of my car 1E 14607 in CIUDAD GUAYANA, VENEZUELA. I need a serious explanation of that situation.

XKEDATA.COM

Dear Sirs:

I am very grateful as I have seen again the original data and location of my car E 14607 on your page.

The work that you do, keeping the track of every E Type in the world, only deserve respect, admiration and support.

In Venezuela, I think still exist at least more than two dozen of E types, mainly located at the capital city Caracas: They belong to different models , years and some in "excellent" driving and
"original" conditions. The next time I see one, I will try to encourage the owner to send the registration data and photos to XKEDATA.COM.

Best regards from a frecuent visitor of your excellent web.page

Hello -

This listing is incorrect - I am the current owner of this car (1E14607) - the car as listed has the incorrect engine, transmission and other numbers.

The car currently resides in Vermont, USA and has never been in Venezuela - along with the car I have the heritage certificate showing all matching numbers. It was originally a pearlescent silver blue but is now painted navy.

I have submitted the corrections to the registry.

Regards,

Dave
