Listed for sale at www.classiccarsforsale.com.uk "1967 Jaguar XKE Roadster 4.2 is considered the best investment of all E-Type Jags. This number matching original factory color exterior and interior is a nice example. The car has been well kept and an ongoing restoration throughout it's years by the original owner up to the now third owner. The miles are documented and it currently has 76,993 original miles. We have a copy of the second owner's title showing when the car was bought in August 1994 and it registered 68,390 miles. Further restoration was performed on this Jaguar by Classic Coachworks in Mount Dora, Florida, to bring it to show quality. The receipts of $25,000 are available. The only paint work that needed refreshing was under the bonnet which was not up to our quality. The car's undercarriage is clean and all the brightwork is very nice. The technician found that the number two valve was bad and we pulled the head and had a shop in Lakeland, Florida, replace all six valves and upper side of the engine. In doing so, the engine was detailed completely and the three carburators were overhauled and compression on all cylinders is now in-line. We also replaced the top with a new English canvas black top. The seats were retrimmed including restuffing to proper specification and covered with new leather hides. All numbers matching . Condition: Frame-on restoration #1 to 2." Price $113,500.
