In addition, to having a flawless fit and finished, this Jaguar E-type is an exceptional driving car. Overall, this car is a great show/driver type of car and most of our clients want to drive the cars they purchase from us and why we spend so much time making our cars right to drive anywhere. The clutch being new feels good. Furthermore, all gears go in easily and with no noises upon shifting gears. This E-type has excellent throttle response with plenty of pull in all gears. The engine temperature holds on hot North Carolina days with the new aluminum radiator and cooling fan installed. The oil pressure at warm idle of 600 rpm is over 20 pounds and when warm it climbs to above 60 pounds when at speed with a new oil sender installed. In addition, the car stops straight with a new braking system and does not pull or fade in either direction on hard braking. The steering is easy with the front end being redone and there is no shake at higher speeds as the car was aligned and the wheels balanced perfectly. The ride in this car is so incredibly smooth, tight and sure to please any enthusiast

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
