This 1966 XKE Open Two Seater is the improved 4.2 liter with better seats, however the engine has been swapped for a 3.8 liter. Painted red with black leather interior and black vinyl top, it has chrome wire wheels and blackwall tires. It is a good, sound car with an older repaint that is showing its age. The body is sound although the floors have been replaced and the rear quarters show evidence of work. The trunk is solid. The interior has been redone at some point. It runs and drives but the engine smokes badly and will need work -- which might be a good time to go back to a 4.2 liter block. Restoration will be straightforward, or it can be driven after attention to the engine.

imported in France on 29 may 2012. we start the full restoration next winter and at that occasion will swap the 3,8 by a 4,2 l actually on 61 ots 875779. photo will come soon.
