Ebay item 10/27/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1966-XKE-Roadster_W0QQitemZ160373034792
Current bid $2,016 reserve not met, 4 bids 9 days left in auction. 58k miles.

Sellers description:
This 1966 E-type open two seater is one of the more desirable ones. It is primrose yellow with black leather interior. The car is pretty much complete except for the normal things missing --- jack, tools, and the center console arm rest. Somewhere along the car's life, the original engine was taken out and it's whereabouts is unknown. The engine that is in it now is Series II, 4.2 E-type engine and it turns over freely. The gearbox and body tag match the commission plate, so it's just the engine that is not original. At least it is an E-type engine. It is an RA engine and I'll post the number later. The body number is 4E4142 and the gearbox number EJ7180. The original engine number was 7E8164-9. This car had a restoration started in 1988. There are new floors in the car on both sides. The car is going to need the completion of a full restoration. The inner sills are fine, but the car will need outer sills and the trunk area is going to need attention. The car steers and rolls fine for easy shipping. There is a box of miscellaneous parts that goes with it, which includes sun visors, rubber strips, etc.
