I have owned this car since July 16, 1973. At first I drove it to work and used it as a second car. It was then stored for about 25 years until restoration began. At this point all body, paint and mechinacal work is completed. Still remaining to be done is a replacement windscreen, new interior and some minor electrical work.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
