This 1965 XKE is a stunning beauty, a rare classic.

It took first place at the California Concourse D'Elegance 1989. The restoration of this car was done using original parts with the exception of the dashboard, which was replaced with beautiful burlwood. Everything is in excellent condition today.

It has 95,035 original miles on the odometer. The 3.8 liter engine and drive train has only approximately 10,000 miles on it after a total rebuild and is in excellent running order. I have kept this car in it's excellent condition by using a clear plastic auto bubble for many years. (Plastic bubble is included with this purchase)

Included is an original service manual which was distributed with the car at the time of purchase and it still has the original jack. This also includes the original canvas top and four spare original wheels with tyres that show some wear.

This is a timeless classic that Jaguar officianados would love to own!

Sellers description:
This is a very good solid series 1 XKE that we have known for many years. We see no evidence of previous body damage or rust. Good solid accident free rust free XKE's are very hard to find! The car was completely gone threw about 5 years ago by us to very nice driver/show standards. At this time the car was completely stripped to bare metal and engine and transmission removed for paint. The car was painted back to it original color of silver. While the engine was out it was cleaned and resealed. The engine runs very strong and did not need a rebuild. We also detailed the car under the hood to make it look great for shows. The rear end was also removed, re sealed and detailed. The paint on the vehicle is very nice but does have a few blisters starting on the bonnet heat vents. This is not uncommon for XKE's because of the heat that comes from the engine bay. The interior is nice but is older. The car runs and drives very well and does not need anything. This is a perfect car to drive and show on weekends.
